SRK Project No: 576159 : WCDM Ref. No.: 12/3/1/11 (Licence No: WCWD013). Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) Saldanha is applying for the renewal of their existing Atmospheric Emission Licence (AEL) in terms of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act 39 of 2004 (NEM:AQA).
The purpose of this application for renewal of the AEL is to extend of the validity period of the AEL issued on 18 May 2021, which expires on 5 September 2021. No changes to current operations are proposed.
Please find attached correspondence related to the release of the draft AEL application for public review and comment from 22 July 2021 until 23 August 2021.
Stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the application and/or register on the project database. Stakeholders must include their name, contact details (specifying the preferred method of notification, e.g. e-mail), and an indication of any direct business, financial, personal, or other interest which they have in the application, to the contact person below, by 23 August 2021. Following the public commenting period, the final AEL Application Form and associated documents will be submitted to the West Coast District Municipality (WCDM) for a decision.

By registering as a stakeholder, you consent to SRK processing and, if necessary, disclosing your personal information for the purposes of this and related applications by TPT, which SRK undertakes to do in accordance with our Protection of Personal Information Policy.
